Gusto and Paychex were not a good fit

I needed someone to do my payroll for me, because it’s really not my strong suit. My CPA actually recommended getting a payroll service, so I looked online. I signed up with Gusto, and I was looking at Paychex, too. But they weren’t a good fit for me. They both seemed a little too involved.

Then I found Roll by ADP in the app store, and it seemed very reasonable in price and something that would be easy for me to use. I could basically do it from my phone, and I knew ADP was a great company. I downloaded it, and it was very easy. The app used text messages to guide me step-by-step on what to do and how to set things up. When I got stuck, I emailed, and Matt from ADP — a real person — got back to me immediately, and he’s been very helpful.

Roll is truly easy

The app is very self-intuitive. I haasyve it set up so that I’m paid every two weeks, so Roll sends me a notification when I need to cut myself a check. It only takes about a minute, and the money comes right out of my business account and transfers into my bank account through direct deposit. All I have to do is acknowledge that the payroll is about to happen, and it automatically happens. It’s truly easy. Not having to stress about payroll is a relief. I know it’s being taken care of, and I don’t really have to worry about it. Roll has given me more time to focus on my business.
